How do I subscribe to the USA Sevens mobile club services? You can join via SMS only. You must send the word RUGBY to 99134. You will receive a confirmation message that you have opted-in successfully.

What kind of alerts will I receive? You will receive the latest event information, from breaking news regarding the teams and scores to travel and lodging information.

Does it matter which carrier I use as my mobile service provider? This service is currently available on Alltel, AT&T Mobility, Dobson/Cellular One, Sprint, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.

How many messages will I receive in return for subscribing to the mobile club services? You will receive up to 15 messages per month for as long as you are subscribed to the USA Sevens Mobile Club alert service.

Will I be billed for Mobile Club alerts? There are no monthly charges for use of this program; however, your mobile service provider may charge you the standard text messaging rate based on your cellular phone plan. These charges will appear on your monthly cell phone bill.

How do I stop the service once I have opted in? Just text DONE to 99134. We’ll cancel your subscription.

How do I send in an SMS message from my phone? Sending an SMS is easy and fun! Although all handsets are different (see your user manual for complete details), most phones will have a “send SMS” or “send text message” option under their messaging menu item. From here you need to send the desired word to the number 99134. The number 99134 is the address that you are sending this message to and will go in the text message where you would otherwise put the phone number of the recipient.
